Almost a whole month!

Has it been almost a whole month since I have blogged? It is not because there has not been anything going on, but just the opposite. I want to catch you up on some of the things we have been doing.

I also want to let you all know that I had a cardiologist appointment this month and my heart is progressing very well and I don't need to have another appointment until April 2011. They do want me to have a 24 hour Halter monitor to see if my heart has any affects from my Wolf Parkinson's white syndrome. They just want to make sure that I am not having any accelerated heart rate events during the day.

I also had my IFSP review with my early interventions program. Everyone is very pleased with my progress and I am not going to be getting OT visits and will be seeing a speech therapist twice a month. I am also backing off on my PT visits to Children's Hospital per the PT's recommendation since I am doing so well on my own.

Thanks for all of your prayers for my development and healing.

Now for the pictures and the updates as to what else is going on.

My Aunt Julie and her boyfriend Trent came out for a long weekend a few weeks back. We went on a hike to hanging lake as well as many trips around town and fun activities with friends. I really like my Auntie Julie. Trent is fun to hang out with too.

Look at the fall colors. This should be a fun hike.

Almost there. We came up that valley.

The lake with some of the falls.

I discovered how much fun it is to throw rocks into water.

We went to the pumpkin patch. We saw so many pumpkins, both the orange things and the little kids.
Hey mom and dad, is this a good one?

I liked to try and roll them all. Some were easier than others.

This is the one that dad and I picked for me.

I also got to go my first professional basketball game. It was a Nuggets preseason game and I had a fun time. There was a little boy next to me that was really into the game so I cheered right along with him. I also tried to take some of his pizza but Dad put an end to that.

My mom is a big Nuggets fan.

This past weekend I went to my dad's favorite pizza place when he was growing up in the Springs. We went there with Grandma and Grandpa "T". It was a lot of fun and the pizza was pretty good. I am no pizza expert yet but I will be one day.

Grandpa wants me to look at the camera and I want the pizza tray.

Just like my dad as a kid, I really liked the game room. I could have sat in front of this game and played with the steering wheel and gear shifter all day.

Sorry again for the delay between blogs. Thanks for reading and commenting.

I love you all,
Lydia
