3rd walk for Down Syndrome

Hello everyone,

We had another good walk this year. The weather was perfect and it was really great to see all of your support for me in your participation in the walk, your financial contributions and your thoughts and prayer support.

My aunt Jenness came out for an extended weekend and joined us for the walk of course. It was really great having her around. She was a big help in getting things ready and just a fun person to have around.

We took a trip to the zoo on Thursday when we picked auntie Nesser up at the airport

We also took a drive into the mountains on Saturday evening to see the wonderful colors of the changing aspen trees.

The walk started at 9AM and when we were all ready as a team we started the walk. There were a lot of people there, some 3000 I think. I got to meet Miss Colorado at the start. I walked a little bit of the way but was carried most of the way as I did not want to stay in my stroller. This kind of rocked me to sleep. After the walk we all stuck around for a bit for sandwiches and drinks.

Let's walk!

Mom's turn to carry me.

Dad I sure am tired.

Dad and me chilling out in our camping chairs before sandwiches and drinks.
Dad has still not received the team picture but will post it as soon as we get it.

We sure did have a fun time and also collected just over $2,000 (after checks turned in the day of the race) for the MHDSA. Thanks again everyone for your support.

Here are some other pictures of stuff that has been going on in my life since our last post of over a month ago. Sorry about that by the way.

Mommy lets me play the big piano from time to time. I like it a lot.

I got to help my mom babysit Lilly. She is a cute little girl.
Here is a fun picture of me eating. Good stuff.

Thanks for looking at my blog. Your comments are welcomed as always.

I love you all,
Lydia
