My birthday bash and more

Hello everyone,

I had such a wonderful birthday celebration will many of my friends and family a couple weeks back.  Thanks for all of the wonderful gifts and cards.  I will have more pictures to share on the event and also my 3 year pictures for you all in a future blog but I wanted to catch you up on all of the other things that have been going on in my life.

My Grandma and Grandpa "E" came out for my birthday bash and also stayed for a week.  We did all sorts of fun things.  We went to a Rockies game, to the zoo and also took a trip to the mountains to Estes Park.  It was sure a lot of fun and I was really glad that they made the trip even with part of I-29 closed due to river flooding.

Here are some pictures that my Mom took on her camera of the fun week we had.

It was such a nice day for an afternoon baseball game.
Nothing like a cool lemon squishy to cool you off.
Here was the view we had of the game.

Last weekend we went down to south Denver for an event called "Dare to Play Football and Cheer".  This is an two day camp put on by the Global Down Syndrome Society.  Over the two days some of the Broncos cheerleaders and former football players teach kids with Down Syndrome some football and cheer moves.  The camp ends with a football game and a tailgate party.  It was such a fun event and we all had a great time.  I really want to be a part of this in a couple years when I am a little older.

My Uncle Jason made it to the game since we were pretty close to where he lives.
We met some of the Bronco Cheerleaders.  Not too sure about the one on the left (my right).
We also met Ed McCaffrey who heads the football camp up.  He use to play wide receiver with the Broncos when they were winning Super Bowls in the late 90's.  Dad was glad to meet him but I was not too sure about it.
There was music and Mom and I were having fun dancing.

After we had some yummy food at the tailgate party we went back to the stadium to play on the track.  Mom and I are going to have a race.  Who do you think will win.  Remember that my Mom can be a bit competitive.
On your marks...  (I am in lane 3 because  I am 3years old)
Hey wait you didn't say go.
Where did Mom go?  She is fast.
 Here I come.
Dad did not get a picture at the end but you can rest assured that I came from behind to win.

This is a fun summer picture to end this blog entry on.  Nothing says summer like sitting around and enjoying a Popsicle.

I hope that you are all having a good start to the summer.  I look forward to hearing from you all when you have time.

Love you,
Lydia
